LANDZA is a local service helping people with land and rural jobs connect with suitable contractors. This notice explains the information LANDZA collects through this website and how it is used.
Information you provide
When you post a job, information may include your name, phone number, email address, postcode or location, job description, service category and photographs you choose to upload. Contractors may provide contact, business, service-area and trade information when using LANDZA.
Why the information is used
Information is used to operate LANDZA, review and administer job requests, identify suitable contractors, enable the job-matching process, respond to genuine service enquiries, maintain service security and understand which LANDZA pages generate job requests.
Sharing information
Your name, phone number and email address are not shown in the initial contractor job preview. If LANDZA considers your job suitable for matching, the private contact details you submit may be shared with no more than three suitable contractors so they can contact you about that specific job. Job information such as the work required, approximate location, access, measurements, timing and photographs may be used to help suitable contractors assess whether the work is relevant to them.
LANDZA does not publish your private contact details as a public directory. Information may also be processed by service providers needed to operate, secure and host LANDZA.
Contractor registrations
Contractors can register initial interest without creating an account. LANDZA uses the submitted trading name, contact details, postcode and selected services to review the registration, send confirmation and invite the contractor to complete a secure profile. Contractor details are not presented as approved or match-ready until the relevant review steps are completed.
Your consent
The job form asks you to confirm that your private details may be shared with no more than three suitable contractors for the job you submit. LANDZA records that choice and the time it was received. If you do not agree, do not submit the job form; you can contact LANDZA with a privacy question instead.
Data minimisation and retention
Please provide only information relevant to the job. LANDZA aims to keep personal information only for as long as reasonably needed to operate the service, administer the relevant job or contractor relationship, resolve issues and meet applicable legal obligations.
Your choices
You can ask about personal information held about you or request correction or deletion where applicable. Do not include sensitive personal information in a job description or photograph unless it is genuinely necessary.
Website security
LANDZA uses technical controls intended to protect administrative and contractor areas and to reduce unnecessary indexing or caching of private operational pages. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
